I have been watching a documentary on Talent Shows, I guess it was interesting but my own personal opinion is that Talent Shows are purely for home entertainment. I find it very upsetting to see little children with big dreams come out extremely distraught and then knowing that they may of just made a fool out of themselves. When my friend went on Britain’s Got Talent she had impeccable talent yet there were so many like her and she also doubted her self…I just think it’s cruel what these judges do to these people.
I have been skating for a considerable time now I am NISA level 3 and compete at National Competitions, I have a passion for dance and my passion is my motivation I do Ballet along with Figure Skating and recently started to go on pointe. I do all the shows at my Ice Rink and can surely say we give a performance worth seeing. If you do Figure Skating and maybe even Ballet I hope I can share with the hardships and sacrifices we go through to do this incredible, beautiful sport well I say push yourself, not to the extremes but push yourself so you can get what you want out of your sport. You can’t start something and hope a miracle will finish it you need to make it happen. I would like to be a performer when I am a bit older and I know that I need the right qualifications for it so if you are not prepared to make your occupation serious than I would just stick to having it as just a time passer.
